................The Three Tuns....

The Three Tuns is located in the heart St Keverne, in the village square next to the church.
The Three Tuns was built in approximately 1900 and has maintained its charm.
There are three acres of lovely grounds to the rear including a children's play area and a beer garden just the place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink on offer on fine days, or some of the great food on offer.
The interior is warm and has a welcoming ambience, and retains much of its original character, happily combined with the comforts of today. The bar area is open-plan, while there's a separate dining area.
From bar snacks and lunches to full evening meals, complemented by daily specials, the menus boast a range of tempting dishes such as home-made pies, steaks, chicken and vegetarian choices. Fish and seafood are specialities. Real ales three at any one time are on tap, together with a good range of lagers, ciders, spirits, wines, soft drinks, teas and coffees.
The six guest bedrooms are comfortable and well-appointed, providing the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful region.
The Landlady, Sharon Stephens is a local person, she and her friendly staff are happy to offer all their guests a warm Cornish welcome.

Garden..................

St. Keverne village was once the haunt of smugglers.
The Three Tuns is said to have taken its name from the three barrels of contrabrand brandy found in the vicar's possession in 1467.
These days St. Keverne village boasts a general store, with a link machine, a post office that sells vegetables and the newsagent's shop which is like Aladdin's cave. It sells everything you forgot to bring and more. A bistro, and a butcher's shop complete the list.
The Three Tuns is in the village square next to the church.
